About Us

The Organ Music Society of Victoria Inc. is the former Society of Organists (Vic) Inc. which, at more than 80 years of age, is the oldest organ music society in Australia. The Society publishes a newsletter every month except January and also our full colour magazine Organ Australia three times a year. If you wish to sign up, you can either go to our Shop or, if you are uncomfortable signing up online, you can download and use this Membership Form.

2021-22

Organ Composition Results

The OMSV is pleased to announce the winners of our organ composition competition. The winner is Adriel Sukumar, a student in NSW and equal runners up are Sandon Lowe, a student in Victoria and Aleksander Szopa, a student in Poland. Congratulations to all the winners. We also thank Dr Stuart Greenbaum, Dr June Nixon and Dr Phillip Matthias for agreeing to be the judging panel. The council hopes to arrange a performance or two of the winning compositions in the future.
